Palayaw

Im thinking of a cute nickname for Marianna and I would very much appreciate some suggestions. Si Mark kasi Mark lang. Misan Macoy o Markey pero mas mahaba pa yung ibang tawag sa kanya kaysa sa totoo nyang pangalan. Ako kasi, madaming nickname. When I was young, aside from Joan, they call me Boyang. They say that I was sickly then kaya binasagan ako. "Boyang" came from my papa who is nicknamed "Boy". They say we look alike and Im a younger version of him, thus the nickname. Then when I was in 2nd year highschool, our English teacher then, Mrs. Marquez, tagged me Dj since my name si spelled as Djohanna. Then my mama calls me Mumay. From the film with a young girl that cries a lot kasi iyakin daw ako. Iyakin? Di naman ah. Ewan ko ba dito kay mama :-P. Then dito sa office, variances of Dj emerges, may tumatawag sa kin ng D-Jo, Deej, Dijay, Jay at kung ano ano pa.

Ngayon Marianna lang tawag ko kay Marianna. Dati I was thinking of Rian, kaso yung kapitbahay namin Rian pangalan kaya ayoko na. Then Mark's sister calls her Yan-yan. Dito naman sa office si Ate Grace tawag sa kanya Rianna. Then my tita calls her Yanna. Ano sa tingin nyo maganda?

Kaya kaninang lunch time, pinuntahan namin ni hazel sa Robinsons Pioneer Complex, 7f Cybergate tower 3 ang office ng Summit Media. Hangang bukas na lang kasi ang claiming period and if di ko claim, it will be in favor of Summit Media. Kaya naman kahit late ako kanina dahil na siraan ang lrt, past 9 na nga ko dumating sa office. Lunch time pinuntahan namin ni Hazel, pinsan ko na ka officemate ko din yung chocolates ko. Effort talaga. Kakapagod mag byahe. From here sa office, naglakad kami sa kanto ng Vito Cruz, sakay ng lrt hangang Edsa Station then sakay naman ng mrt then baba ng Boni Ave Stn. Lakad ulit to reach Summit's office sa Robinsons Pioneer.

Ok naman. Dumating kami dun 1pm. Intay ng mga approx 20 mins para sa gift pack na beryll chocolates then kain kami sa Robinsons Pioneer Mall for lunch gutom na din kasi kami sa pakikipagbuno namin sa pagsakay ng Lrt at Mrt. Medyo madami din yung chocolates. Ok na din ang aming biniyahe.

Thanks Smart Parenting kasi its my first time to join one of your promos and luckily im one of the winners. Thank you kay Hazel sa pagsama sa kin at hindi ko mapupuntahan yung lugar mag isa. At higit sa lahat, maraming salamat sa boss namin, si Mam Loida sa pagpapasensya nya sa amin. Biruin mo, late na nga kami ng umaga, pati pag balik after lunch late pa din. Hay ... Thanks Mam Loi. Office Birthday Celebration

I was not able to go to office last monday so i treated my officemates for lunch yesterday.

Too bad i was not able to take the before pictures, yung nakahain pa yung mga handa at payapa pa ang kapaligiran, ang bilis kasi ng mga pangyayari. Ang bilis naubos ng pagkain. ha ha. Gutom ang mga taga opisina ko. Nung dumating yung taga kabila, yung accts annex department, kanin, sabaw, konting mixed vegies at dessert na lang ang inabutan. Mabuti at mga jologs naman tong mga ito at umubra na din. Masaya kasi daming tao dito. Nakakamiss sila. Di kasi kami araw araw nag kikita at nilagak kami dito sa kabundukan. he he. Eto ang listahan ng mga gusto kong pasalamantan kaugnay sa ukasyong ito:

Una, salamat sa aking Ina. Pinagluto pa ako ng shanghai at Hamonado pandagdag handa.

Pangalawa, kay Kuya Vic. Ang aming resident caterer. Maraming salamat at nag paabala ka sa akin. Sarap ng kalderetang spare ribs at mixed vegies. Next week, tingnan ko ang handa mo at i kritik natin dito sa blog ko. ha ha Advance happy birthday :-)

Pang tatlo, salamat sa mga kaibigan ko sa trends. Dahil nag bigay sila ng 2 kahong Krispy Kremes na pinakain ko din sa mga kasama ko dito. Nag enjoy sila. At nag enjoy naman din ako pag tingin sa kanila.

Pang apat, salamat sa mga kaibigan ko sa euroasia. Salamat sa ice cream. Gusto ko ng double dutch, kaso nga lang di ako naka tikim kahit isang kutchara. ha ha. Ok lang, sabi ko nga makita ko lang mga kasama kong nag eenjoy, masaya na din ako.

Pang lima, salamat sa mga ka opisina ko, lalo na yung mga dumayo pa galing kabila. Masaya ako at pinaunlakan nyo ako. Di ko nga alam sino unang eembrace. Na miss ko kayo talaga.

Hangang sa muli kong kaarawan dito sa opisina mga kaibigan. Hangat kaya ng aking kakayanan, itutuloy ko taon taon ang pagbusog sa inyo. Next time, di na pang 50 ihahanda namin, pang 100 na para di ako mag panic pag naubusan yung iba. ha ha

What do I want as a birthday gift?

This saturday, May 30, at 5:17am, i'll be turning 30 years old. What do i want for my birthday?

Material things ....

• Gusto ko magkaron na kami ng sarili naming bahay. Para naman maiayos ko na room ni Marianna. Para na din ma practice ko na ang aking skills pang huwarang ina awards.
• Gusto ko magkaron ng oven para matuto ako mag bake through practice. Sana lang wag unahan ng katamaran at maging puro sa umpisa lang kagaya ng dati.
• Gusto ko manalo ng lotto pang treat sa aking family and friends. At kailangan pa sa lotto ko manalo para may pang treat? para bonggacious ang akin kaarawan. ha ha. Pero bago ang lahat, tataya muna ko. Di naman ako mananalo ng walang taya e.
• Gusto ko ng magandang TV, yung flat screen. 65 inches. Kasi yung tv pinapanooran ni Marianna ti-gulang na (matanda na) at ilang minutes din bago lumiwanag. May sakit na kasi. Katulad din ng tao na pag tumatanda, nag lalabasan na diprensya. Ganun!

Not material things ...

• Im hoping I'll learn to be more patient. Kasi habang tumatanda, nauubos din ang pasensya. Kaya wish ko kay Lord na dagdagan pa sana ang pasensya ko. Kasi I know I'll be needing more of it dealing with raising our Marianna pati na din sa pakikisalamuha sa ibang tao.
• Im hoping I'll learn to be more organized. Gusto ko kasi maging masinop para maging huwaran ako kay Marianna. he he. Kasi minsan ang gulo gulo. Hanap ako ng hanap di ko makita kung ano man yung hinahanap ko. May pag kakataon kasi na may pagkamakalimutin ako e. Nasasayang lang ang oras. If I'll be more organized, life will be easier.
• Im wishing for good health for me and my family. Simply because health is wealth and I want to enjoy life and be ready to whatever it might bring.
• Im hoping I'll be more of a positive thinker. Minsan kasi, ay medyo madalas din pala, kung ano ano iniisip ko. Sumasakit lang ang ulo ko sa mga pangyayari na di pa naman talaga nangyayari. Nagsasayang lang ako ng oras pag iisip sa mga bagay na di naman dapat isipin. Hay ... pinaparusahan ko lang ang sarili. Sayang lang ang mga brain cells ko na nadamage dahil sa mga ganitong bagay.

Wish and hopes for my family ...

• I hope we'll get to spend more time together. Me, my husband and Marianna.
• I wish them good health and safety always.
• I wish Marianna will grow up to be everything that she wants to be, to the best of her abilities. May she be God fearing, respectful and kind hearted.
• I wish that our family bond will get stronger as years go by.

Many wishes, some will come true, others will not. But one thing for sure, everything happens for a reason may it be on small things or big ones. All we have to do is to place our trust in HIM that everything will happen according to his will and for our own good as well.

Day Dreaming of Sweets

Everytime im tired or down, i crave for sweets kasi it gives me a high na nakakapag pasaya sa kin. Naalala ko tuloy nung 30th anniversary dito sa office. We had a dinner celebration sa Manila Pen at ayan ang kinain ko nung gabi na yun. Puro desserts. Ang sarap. Gustong gusto ko yung apple pie na may ice cream. Hay ... pagod ako. Kailangan ko ng pampasaya. Makakain na lang tinapay na may Nutella pag dating sa bahay

Shopping for Native Cookies

Di ako nakapasok kahapon, nag pa check up ako sa Dr. sa Concepcion malabon.

Tapos may nakita ko na bakery na puro native cookies tinda, N. Juance Orig. Bakery. Ang saya ko. Nag turo ako ng nag turo sa tindera. Ayan ang nabili ko, worth Php 120.00 lahat. Clockwise: Mini camachille - crunchy mini cookies shaped like the vegie camachile, pacencia - crunchy round cookies, mini camachille ulit, camachile, pianono - mamon na nakarolyo na parang may yema o leche flan sa gitna (dalawa yan nakain ko na yung isa agad, he he), mamon tostado - crunchy mamon, lengua de gato - flat milk cookies tska puto seco - round white cookies yung nasa gitna. Pinaka gusto ko? yung pianono. Yun yata specialty nila dun. Naalala ko tuloy nabanggit ng papa ko na dun sya bumibili ng pianono na binibigay nya kay mama nung nanliligaw pa daw sya. Masarap daw kasi talaga dun.

Sitting Pretty

Ayan, napagkatuwaan lang ng mama ko ibili si Marianna ng inflatable na upuan. Si strawberry shortcake yan, di lang kita yung mukha kasi nasandalan nya. Picturan ko daw. At ayan na nga isa sa mga kuha nya, sitting pretty habang nakatingin kay Mommy.

Stay Married and Save the Planet

CANBERRA - Staying married is better for the planet because divorce leads the newly single to live more wasteful lifestyles, an Australian lawmaker said Tuesday.

Senator Steve Fielding told a Senate hearing in the Australian capital Canberra that divorce only made climate change worse.
When couples separated, they needed more rooms, more electricity and more water. This increased their carbon footprint, Australian Associated Press quoted Fielding as telling the hearing on environmental issues.
"We understand that there is a social problem , but now we're seeing there is also environmental impact as well on the footprint," AAP quoted him as saying.
Such a "resource-inefficient lifestyle" meant it would be better for the planet if couples stayed married, he said.
During the hearing, the senator read out quotes from a U.S. report that advocated his stance.
Fielding, who leads the independent Family First party, grew up in a family of 16 children and has been married for 22 years, his website says.

Interesting Dream

I just woke up to a very amusing and interesting dream. I was walking in a school campus when I saw my husband Mark talking and kissing another girl. Not sure if we're still boyfriend and girlfriend in my dream but still seeing that scenario made me furious. Anyways, im writing this blog not telling my husband first about this dream, he heh. I approached them and grabbed the girls' hair and started a fist fight. Lalo akong nagalit when Mark turned away from me and kissed the girl on the lips, talaga nga naman. Kaya I turned to him and slapped him in the face. Sobrang galit ko i just told him that I hate him and I don't want to talk to him anymore and just stormed away from the scene. Lahat ng makasalubong ko sa campus hinahawi ko, I even saw my former highschool classmate, Novalyn Ramos na hinawi ko din sa dream ko. Hi Nova! Sensya na di kita nagreet man lang sa dream ko, ha ha. Tapos I just received a text from Mark na nasa hospital daw sila ni Anne, pangalan nung girl. They were to be treated for the bruises from my scratches and hits. Tapos he was explaining sa text na he met yung Anne sa auction when he participated in an auction fund and the girl won the bid to have a date with him. By the way, the Anne in my dream is not my friend Annie. The Anne in my dream has long hair, brown skin, tall and chubby. Nagising na ko e. Pero most of the time, i get to control my dream kaya dapat I was about to storm them in the hospital and confront them both. Pasalamat sila narinig ko si Marianna naglalaro kaya my attention was turned to my daughter.
